Margaret N. Van Frachen, age 79, died Monday, November 4, 1996, at Two Rivers Community Hospital.
Margaret was born July 9, 1917, in Green Bay, daughter of the late John and Antoinette Van Den Langenberg Baumgart.
On April 17, 1937, she married Albert L. Van Frachen in Green Bay. He preceded her in death January 21, 1993. Together they owned and operated Van's Bakery in downtown Two Rivers for more than 30 years, until retiring in 1978.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Ernest and Patricia Van Frachen, Friendswood, Texas, Gary and Lois Van Frachen, Kalistell (sic), Mont.; three daughters and sons-in-law, Jackie and Jim Barrett, Green Bay, Sharon and Ronald Herzog, Valders, Pauline and Hector Rodela, Manitowoc; one brother-in-law, Ben Klish, Green Bay; 14 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends also survive.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Marcella Klish and Anna Walton, and one brother, Norbert Baumgart.
Funeral Services will be held at Klein and Stangel Funeral Home, Two Rivers, and entombment will follow at Knollwood Mausoleum, town of Kossuth.
