COLDWATER- Artella B.Buys, of Coldwater, died Sunday, Sept.6, 1998, at the Battle Creek Heath Care System. She was born Feb. 23, 1910, in Branch County to Authur Kimble and Nellie D'Water.She married Marshall F. Buys on May 5, 1928, in Angola, Ind. She was a member of the Girard United Methodist Church,a lifelong resident of the area and a graduate of Coldwater High School.Funeral Sevices will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept 11, at the Girard United Methodist Church with Rev.Robert Stark officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery in Girard,Mich. Visitation will be Thursday from 3-5 and 6-8 p.m. at the Gillespie Funeral Home in Coldwater, mich.She is survived by her husband Marshall; sons Larry Buys of Traverse City, Mich. and Bruce Buys of Coldwater; four grandchildren and two great grand. children. she was preceded in death by a son, Robert Buys , and a brother, William Kimble. Memorial, in lieu of flowers, may be made to the Girard United Methodist Church or the Alzheimer's Association.
