Evelyn F. Watson, age 84, a resident of The Rosebud Manor, Valders, died Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2007, at Aurora Hospital, Two Rivers.
She was born Nov. 22, 1922, in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Ernest and Hattie (Herwig) Holzschuh. Evelyn was a graduate of Lincoln High School, Manitowoc, class of 1941.
She married Vance Watson in June of 1951 in Las Vegas. He preceded her in death in 1988.
Evelyn was a manager at Del-Ray Mobile Home Park in Anaheim, Calif., retiring in 1987. The couple then moved and retired to Parker, Aria. before Evelyn moved back to Valders, in August 2005.

She was also preceded in death by a son: Duke Watson in 1980; two brothers and sisters-in-law: Raymond and Ann Holzschuh and William and LaVerne Holzschuh; and four sisters and brothers-in-law: Adeline and Eugene MacDonald; Loretta and Ulrich Braasch; Dorothy and Quirin Swoboda; and Leona and Roland Specht.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 26, 2007, at The Pfeffer Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, Manitowoc. Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Gregory Pope. Cremation to follow with entombment of the cremated remains at Knollwood Mausoleum, town of Kossuth, at a later date. The family will greet relatives and friends at The Pfeffer Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, Manitowoc, from 9:30 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 26, 2007, until the time of service at 11:30 a.m.
