Jean (née Zimonick) Webster, age 73, Two Rivers, died Monday, April 20, 1998, at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield, as the result of a stroke.

Jean Cathleen Zimonick was born in Green Bay on April 4, 1925, the fourth of seven children born to Edward Frank and Bertha (née Erdman) Zimonick. She graduated from Green Bay East High School in 1943.

She married Charles Webster, Sr., on September 18, 1948.

The primary focus of Jean's life was her family. She also sat on the Board of Directors of DowCo, Inc., and was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Elks Ladies, Junior Service League of Manitowoc County, Two Rivers Women's Club, the Two Rivers Historical Society, Wisconsin State Historical Society and the Rahr-West Art Museum where she was a docent.

She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Charles; four children and their families, Cathleen Webster Torke and her husband John, Manitowoc, Nancy Webster Bromann and her husband Craig, Glen Ellyn, Illinois, Charles Matthew Webster Jr. (Chuck) and his wife, Jennifer, and Lynee Webster Eriksen and her husband, Robert of Wausaus; eleven grandchildren, Christina, Susanna and Pamela Torke, Meredith, Emily and Charles Webster III (Chip) Theodore, Madeline and Lillian Bromann, and Evan and Elsa Ericksen. She is also survived by her sisters and brothers, Eileen Krumdick (Mrs. Lloyd), Robert Zimonick, Marguerite Heilman (Mrs. Frank), Dorothy Plinske, (Mrs. Lee), Richard Zimonick, and James Zimonick, all of Green Bay; other relatives and many friends also survive.

Memorials would be appreciated to St. John's Lutheran Church Building Fund, in Two Rivers.
