ZELMA LEE MEEKS LESCH, loving known as "Mom Zee," passed away Saturday, the 17th of July 2004. She was born in Pocasset, Oklahoma, on the 31st of July 1921 to Gertrude and Clyde Meeks. She was a graduate of Tipton Oklahoma High School and the University of Oklahoma where she received her Bachelor of Arts in the School of Fine Arts. On the 10th of September 1942, she was married to James R. Lesch. She devoted her life to him and their four sons, Dr. James R. Lesch, Jr., Dr. Jack W. Lesch, Terry A. Lesch, and Steven A. Lesch; all of the Houston, Texas area. She loved her daughter-in-laws, her twelve grandchildren, and her three great grandchildren. She was a faithful member of the Chapelwood United Methodist Church, worked diligently for the Blue Bird Circle and Holly Hall, and was a member of The Brookwood Community of volunteers. In addition, she was a dedicated Hughes Tool Company wife.
