Erwin “Dick” Wollersheim, 73, of 714 First St., Kiel, died Wednesday at Valley Manor Nursing Home, Plymouth, following a lengthy illness.

He was born Aug. 14, 1913 in Sheboygan, a son of William and Emily Kaltenbrun Wollersheim. He attended school in the town of Schleswig. On Nov. 18, 1939 he married Milda Schnell at Trinity Lutheran church, town of Liberty. Wollersheim worked at various businesses in the Kiel area and farmed in the town of Schleswig. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Kiel.

Survivors are his wife, Emily; a daughter, Mrs. Dale (LuAnn) Jeanty, Howards Grove; a son, William, of rural Plymouth; two grandchildren and a brother, Arnold of Manitowoc.

He was preceded in death by three brothers.

Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Friday at Trinity Lutheran church, Kiel, with the Rev. Richard Warnke, pastor, officiating. Entombment will be in the Knollwood Mausoleum, Manitowoc.
