Miss Preston was born in Denver on May 25, 1895, daughter of George Preston and Margaret Thorington Preston.
Her volunteer services included: the local Red Cross, Samuels Public Library,Front Royal, VA and the Thrift Shop of Calvary Episcopal Church, Front Royal, VA where she was a member.
A funeral was held Monday in Calvary Episcopal Church by the Rev. W. T. Waterhouse.
Burial was Tuesday in Oakdale Cemetery in Davenport, Iowa.
Arrangements were by Maddox Funeral Home, Front Royal, VA.
