SMITHDALE – Conner Craig Adams, 20, died Sunday, March 24, 2013, at Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center in McComb from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born March 10, 1993, in McComb to Fred A. and Darlene Brekeen Adams. He was a member of Mars Hill Baptist Church. He was a 2010 graduate of Parklane Academy and was expected to graduate from Southwest Mississippi Community College this May. He loved the outdoors and was most at home hunting, fishing and trapping. He was an avid gun and knife collector.

Visitation is at Mars Hill Baptist Church from 5 until 8 p.m. today and continues Wednesday from 9 a.m. until services at 11 a.m. at the church with the Rev. Joel Williams and the Rev. Alton Foster officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Hartman-Sharkey Funeral Home of McComb is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include his parents, Fred and Darlene Adams; a sister, Caitlin E. Adams; a brother, Cael A. Adams; his grandmother, Mary Margaret Edwards Adams; uncles, aunts and cousins, Warren and Mary Jane Adams, Tyler, Josh, Tucker and Juliana, Charles and Amy Adams, Dock and Ann Allyse, all of Smithdale, Walt and Carri Brekeen of Mansfield, Texas, and Bill Brekeen and Lacey of Tishomingo; great-uncles and aunts, Jamie and Sandra Edwards, and Doug and Vera Edwards, all of Summit; and a very special cousin, Sally Edwards Toler (Chris) and Logan, Laura and Lizzy.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Walter and Nell Robinson Brekeen; paternal grandfather, Bobby L. Adams and great-grandparents, Quiller C. and Rosa Stubbs Brekeen, A.D. and Minnie Bates Robinson, Forrest and Lorraine Burris Edwards and R.E. and Eva Shurley Adams.

Pallbearers will be Tyler Cunningham, Josh Cunningham, Tucker Adams, Chris Toler, Warren Adams, Charles Adams and Dock Braddock. Honorary pallbearers will be his many friends.
