Geraldine M. Zeman, age 75, of 6222 Old Y, town of Gibson, passed away peacefully with her family at her side at her residence on Monday, May 28, 2007.
She was born on May 6, 1932, in Two Rivers, to the late George and Ester Beyer LaRose, and has been a lifelong area resident.
She worked as an LPN for the Manitowoc Memorial Hospital, and after working there, she married Harvey James Zeman and raised their family of five while working on the family farm in the town of Gibson.
After raising their family, she resumed her nursing career by working as a Private Family Home Care Nurse.
She was an active member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in the town of Gibson and was a member of the Ladies Aide of the church. She and her husband of 51 years enjoyed traveling and dancing.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by one son: Glen; and her brother: Donald LaRose.
Relatives and friends may call after 10 a.m. on Friday, June 1, 2007, at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in the town of Gibson. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the church, with the Rev. Maurice L. Hoppe officiating, with entombment in the Knollwood Mausoleum, Highway 310, in Manitowoc.
A memorial fund has been established in her name.
The Lambert-Eckert Funeral Home of Mishicot is assisting the Zeman family with funeral arrangements.
