Frances M. Abromovage, 77, of West Pittston, formerly of Exeter, died Thursday at home. Born July 15, 1923, in Cornwall, England, she was the daughter of the late William F. and Annie Maria (Brey) May. She graduated from high school in England. She worked at Star Garment, Exeter. She served in the English Women's Royal Navy Service during World War II, from 1942 to 1945. She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Church and Auxiliary of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6518, both of Exeter, and the Wyoming Valley Branch of the British Women's Club. She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel. The funeral will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday from the Kizis-Lokuta Funeral Home, 134 Church St., Pittston, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Church. Interment will be in St. Casimir's Cemetery, Pittston. Relatives and friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday.
