Surviving are two daughters, Michelle D Stevenson and her husband John, of Belton, Missouri, and Joanie Leger and her husband Jason, of Pineville, Louisiana; her father, Ralph V Franklin, of Olathe, Kansas; five grandchildren, Dustin, Kayla, Joshua, Brittany, and Brooke; two great-grandchildren, Jayden and Paylah; three sisters, Linda Thomas and her husband George, of Olathe, Kansas, Judy Abyad of Pineville, Louisiana, and Janice Carter and her husband John, of Olathe, Kansas; a twin brother Steve Franklin and his wife Karen, of Olathe, Kansas; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Petros Galatas, her mother Helen L Franklin, and a brother-in-law Jamal Abyad.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, September 18, 2010 at the Park Street Church of Christ, 515 West Park Street, Olathe, Kansas.
