Treva Carnell Tucker, 96, of Monterey, passed away Sept. 20, 2001. Graveside services were conducted Sept. 24 at Wingo Cemetery. Bro. Bobby L. Crittendon, minister of Wingo Church of Christ, officiated.
Mrs. Tucker was born April 15, 1905, in Graves County, KY, the daughter of John Logan and Tinnie Mae Dick Gordon.
She was a homemaker, and a member of Wingo Church of Christ.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, John and Melba Via of the Cumberland Cove community; sister, Mary Lou Elliott of Temple City, CA; grandchildren, Lynn Venable of Nashville, Terry Via of Colorado Springs, CO, Sally Baruzzini of Metamora, IL, Lee Ann Goin of Alpharetta, GA, and William Via of New York City, NY; and great-grandchildren, Jonathan Watkins of Nashville, Adam Baruzzini, Kristin Baruzzini, Kelsey Baruzzini and Kaylyn Baruzzini, all of Metamora, and Joshua Goin of Alpharetta.
She was preceded in death by her two husbands, Luba Via and Palos Tucker; sisters, Beatrice Anderson, Pauline Tibbs and Oneida Binkley; and brothers, Osborne Gordon, Earl Gordon and Jack Gordon.
Horner Funeral Home in Monterey was in charge of the arrangements.
