Mrs. Lorena Ellen Douglas Wilder, wife of James Adger Wilder, died Thursday, July 31, 1969 at Georgetown County Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Wilder was born January 5, 1901, in Williamsburg County, a daughter of the late Louis H. Douglas and Mrs. Lillie Chinnes Doughas.

She was survived by her husband; three sons, James A. Wilder Jr. of Georgetown, Douglas F. Wilder of Oklahoma City, OK, and Robgert A. Wilder of Pawleys Island; three daughters, Mrs. W. H. Finkbeiner of Orlando, FL, Miss Katie R. Wilder of Pawleys Island, and Mrs. Willie Starnes of Belle Vernon, Pa.; two sisters, Mrs. Fred Fenters of Georgetown County and Mrs. Enest Tull of Nichols; 24 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were Saturday, August 2, 1969, in Pawleys Island Baptist Mission. Burial, directed by Mayer Funeral Home, followed in Rose Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
