Son of John C. Brown and Lula Mae Stokes. Husband of Eula Brown.

Northport - John Therman Brown, 73, of 15030 Highway 171, Northport, died Sept. 19, 1995, at Heritage Health Care.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Sunset Funeral Home chapel with burial in Tuscalooosa Memorial Park.

He was a member of Bethabara Baptist Church in Northport, veteran of World War II and retired after 43 years of service in the Army Reserves as a Chief Warrant Officer 4. He was retired from Civil Service as AMSA foreman for the Army Reserves and member of J. Collier Foster, Masonic Lodge of Northport.

Survivors include his wife, Eula Brown, Northport; a daughter, Faye Turner, Melbourne, Fla.; sons, Rodney Brown, Northport, Toney Brown, Northport, Davey Brown, Tuscaloosa; fours sisters, Mildred Sullivan, Tuscaloosa, Maureen Ray, Tuscaloosa, Maxine Channell, Northport, Myran Reed, Northport, a brother, Edsel Brown, Northport; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Terry Turner, Greg Turner, Michael Broughton, Eddy Broughton, Darwin Sullivan, Greg Brown.
