        Bernard Shovlin Dies At Lee Park
    Bernard Shovlin, 70, retired railroad employe, died this morning at 2 at his home, 38 St. Mary's Road, Lee Park, following several months' illness.
    He was born in Hazleton, the son of the late James and Elizabeth Fitzgerald Shovlin, and moved to Ashley as a young man where he resided until 10 years ago when be moved to Lee Park.
    Mr. Shovlin was employed by the Central Railroad of New Jersey for 30 years, retiring 15 years ago as a result of injuries received while at work as a brakeman for the railroad.
    He was a member of St. Aloysius' Church and its Holy Name Society and also of Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen.
    Surviving are his wife, Sabina, and children, Richard of Roselle Park, N. J.; Mary, Margaret and Elizabeth, all at home, Louis of Jersey City, N. J.; also two grandchildren, Richard and Robert Shovlin of Roselle Park; and brothers and sisters, Daniel and Patrick Shovlin, Mrs Max Clemens, Mrs. James Brennan and Mrs. Ida Brislin, all of Wilkes-Barre; and James Shovlin of Plainfield, N. J.
    The funeral will be held Friday morning at 9 from the home with a requiem mass at 9:30 in St. Aloysius' Church. Interment will be in St. Mary's cemetery, Hanover Township.
