Katherine L. Baptiste Benjamin, 78, McGregor, died Saturday, March 16, 2013, at her home.
Services were held Thursday, March 21, from the East Lake Community Center with Lee Staples officiating.
Katherine was born December 4, 1934, at Luck, WI, to George and Elsie (Skinaway) Baptiste. She grew up and attended schools in Luck. She then moved to the McGregor area where she lived most of her life.
She was a member of the Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Rebecca Agua; brother, Biddy Boy Baptiste; and sister, Georgiana Baptiste.
