"CAMERON--James F. Dougherty, 80, a retired Santa Fe Railway foreman and a resident of the Cameron community for more than 40 years, died Thursday evening in the Galesburg State Research Hospital where he had been a patient three months.
"He was born Jan. 15, 1881, at New Philadelphia, McDonough County, and was married to Martha Stegall Sept. 16, 1903. She died in 1917. He was married to Annie Thomas Clark March 1, 1919. She preceded him in death in 1959. Mr. Dougherty retired from the Santa Fe in 1946. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Mary Moloney of Chicago; a son, Kenneth of Lomax; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Velma Vanderwert of Wichita, Kan., and two brothers, John of Des Moines and Mart of Galesburg.
"Funeral arrangements are pending at the Turnbull Funeral Home, Monmouth."
