Mrs. Betty Glyn Brantley Parker, 83, passed away on Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at Neshoba County Nursing Home. She lived in Kemper County for 30 years and then made Philadelphia her home. She married John Lenard Parker on September 4, 1953. Mrs. Parker worked for Commercial Bank for 30 years. She enjoyed painting & gardening. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church.
Mrs. Parker was preceded in death by her parents, D.O. (Otha) Brantley & Ruby McDonald Brantley; sisters, Wanet Martin & Edith Brantley. Mrs. Parker is survived by her husband, John L. Parker of Phila, MS; daughter, Jan Partin & her husband, Robert of Mena, AR; sons, John Keith Parker of Cumming, GA & Prentiss Parker of Phila, MS; (6) Grandchildren, Brandye Drager, Emmye Partin, Justin Partin, Lanna Parker, Lara Parker & Zen Parker; (3) Great-Grandchildren,
Georgia Drager, Cook Drager & Lane Daniel Drager.
