NEW CONCORD: Janet V. (Barr) Swisher, 59, of New Concord, passed away at 5:55 a.m. on Thursday, March 28, 2013 at the Beckett House at New Concord after a long battle with Huntington's Disease. She was born December 20, 1953, in Indiana, a daughter of the late Dan and Eileen Ruth Boggess Barr.
Surviving are two daughters, Kayla (Harry) Helser and Jessica (Austin Bugher) Swisher, both of Cambridge; three grandchildren, Lillian Helser, Garrett Helser and Jackson Bugher; a brother, Steve Barr of Cambridge; and a sister, Phyllis (Hubert) Wisenbarger of Cambridge.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Don Barr.
Friends and family may call from 4:00 p.m. until time of service at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 30, 2013 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD, ZANESVILLE.
