Elizabeth M. Anderson, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and faithful servant of God, peacefully passed away on July 7, 2023, in Gibbs Woods, NC at the age of 85. Born on February 19, 1938, in Gibbs Woods, NC., to the late Larchie James and Ruth Dudley Miller, Elizabeth lived a life full of love, devotion, and unwavering faith.

Elizabeth dedicated several years of her life as a School Bus Driver, ensuring the safety and well-being of countless children. Her warm smile and caring nature made her a cherished figure in the community.

While Elizabeth's career brought joy to her life, her true passions lay in her family and her strong love for God. She was a pillar of strength, offering guidance and support to her loved ones. Her unselfish love for family was evident in everything she did, and her legacy of kindness and compassion will forever inspire those who were blessed to have known her.

Elizabeth was predeceased by her husband, Willis "Bill" Anderson.

Her memory will be cherished by her sons, Earnest Anderson and wife Lorrie, Randy Anderson, and Kenneth Anderson. She also leaves behind her granddaughter, Tina, and grandsons Kyle (Lauren), Josh (Anna), and Ronnie (Ashley). Her role as Granny Annie to her great-grandchildren, William(age 16), Daniel(age 13), Jayson(age 11), Landon(age11), Madison(age 10), Liam(age 6), Raelynn(age 6), Mia(age 4), and Waylon(age 2) was the role she was most proud of and they brought immense joy to her life.

Elizabeth will be remembered not only for the love she showered upon her family, but also for the light she brought into the world through her unwavering faith and devotion. Her legacy of love and kindness will continue to guide and inspire us all. May her soul find eternal peace in the loving embrace of God.

Elizabeth will be laid to rest in Rutter Cemetery, Ballahack Rd., Chesapeake.
