BAYONNE Frank Gorczyca, 84, a lifelong resident of Bayonne, passed away on Thursday, December 22, 2011, at the Bayonne Medical Center. He was a retired long-shoreman for NYSAL. Frank worked at the Military Ocean Terminal Bayonne for 38 years. He served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII. He was a member of Post 19 of Bayonne where he served as sergeant of arms and enjoyed cooking. He was predeceased by his parents, Jan and Helena Gorczyca and his siblings: Helen Kielb, Agnes, Joseph, Casmier, Stanley, Walter and John Gorczyca. Surviving are his sisters, Marianne Wegrzynski and Shirley Jachim; dear uncle of Barbara (John) Miksza, Paul (Gretchin) Jachim; and great-uncle of Andrea Miksza. The Funeral was con-ducted on Tuesday, December 27, 2011. A Funeral Mass was offered at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church and burial followed at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
