Mrs. E. W. Viall, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Haben, her father at one time mayor of Oshkosh, died Sunday morning at San Jose, Calif., where she had lived the last 10 years.
She was formerly Miss Irene Haben and was born in Oshkosh June 28, 1872. She spent most of her life here. Her husband also is a former Oshkosh resident. Mrs. Viall's parents were pioneer residents of the city.
She is survived by her husband; two sons, Edgar and Wendel Viall, both of San Jose; one sister, Mrs. A. C. (Regina) Halter, of San Jose, and two brothers, Leo Haben of that place and Andrew Haben of Oshkosh.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning at San Jose and the remains will be brought to Oshkosh for interment in Riverside cemetery.
When she lived in Oshkosh, Mrs. Viall resided at the corner of Algoma Blvd. and Jackson Drive.
