She was born May 30, 1912 in Randolph County, North Carolina, and died April 4, 1982 in Greensboro, Guilford County, North Carolina. Both were buried in Guilford Memorial Park, Greensboro, Guilford County, North Carolina.

George Emerson Garst, 50, of 3717 Frazier Dr. in Greensboro, died at 10:20 p m yesterday at Cone Hospital from multiple injuries received in an auto accident a week ago.
He had lived in Greensboro for 30 years and spent 25 years as a salesman fo Pet Dairy Co. He retired a year ago due to ill health, but joined United Bonding Co. as a bondsman. He was a member of Hinshaw Memorial Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife, the former Inez Davidson, one son George Ferrall Garst of the home; two daughter, Mrs Sue Stamper of Greensboro, and Miss Joyce Garst of the home; his mother Mrs Levi Garst of Salem, Va; six sisters, Mrs F W Mitchell of Bassett, Va, Mrs A R Showalter, Mrs W G Kinzie and Mrs Phillip Trout, all of Bridgeport, Va, and Mrs Max Murray and Mrs Kent Murray, both of Roanoke, Va.
Funeral will be held at 11 am Saturday at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Chapel by Rev G E Smith, pator of Hinshaw Memorial Methodist Church. Burial will be Guilford Memorial Park. The body will remain at the funeral home.
