Mrs. Mabel Fahnestock Targett, a native of Cohoes, died Saturday at her residence in Woodbourne after a long illness. She resided in Cohoes until 16 years ago when she moved to Woodbourne where she was a member of the Woodbourne Reformed Church. She is survived by her husband, Stanley E. Targett; one sister, Miss Ella Fahnestock of Salt Point; one brother, Frederick W. Fahnestock of Cohoes, and one niece, Mrs. Clara Stott of Delmar. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. from the funeral home of James S. Calkins and Son. 140 Mohawk St., (MDP) Cohoes, where Rev. George D. New York, May 14 (Special) - A marriage license was issued here today to Stanley E Targett, 42 of 76 Mastern Avenue, Cohoes, and Miss Mable May Fahnestock, 39, of 1512 Amsterdam Avenue, this city. The couple said they would be married today at the Washington Heights Baptist Church, New York, by Rev. Gordon Baker.
Mr. Targett was born in Cohoes, the son of Alfred and Ernestine Near Targett. Miss Fahnestock was also born in Cohoes, the daughter of Fred and Annie Remkuhl (Lehmkuhl) Fahnestock.
