1918 - Draft Card, he states he is 27, married with one child. Believe that he was widowed sometime around 1920. A Mary Singley married in 1927 states mother is deceased and father, is W.H. Singley. [NOTE: Could be possible daughter, but his 1956 obituary says mother Lotta is still living, names his brothers and sisters, but no children are listed except his step-daughters. No further research has been done.]

1950 - Walt and Frances lived in Philadelphia until they relocated to Corry, PA to be closer to her daughter and grandhchildren.

"WALTER SINGLEY DIES SUDDENLY - Walter H. Singley of Shady Avenue died sudenly this morning at 10:30 o'clock when he suffered a heart attack. Funeral arrangements are in charge of the Bracken Funeral Home, and a complete obituary will be published in tomorrow's issue of The Journal."
"Walter Henry Singley of ... Mr. Singley was born April 6, 1890 in Philadelphia. He resided in Philadelphia for many years during which time he was a trainer of horses and he was formerly employed by the city of Philadelphia as a stable foreman.
In 1923 he was married to Frances McCormick who survives. For the past five years he had lived in Corry and was employed as a custodian at the Wright Street School, but more recently had been working for the Pennsylvania Deparment of Highways.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two step-daughters, Mrs. Robert Wilcox, Corry, and Mrs. George W. Dauth, Harrisburg; his mother, Mrs. Lotta Singley, ... two brothers, Charles and George, ... four sisters, Mrs. William Haines, Mrs. James Brown, Mrs. Adam Germans, and Mrs. James McGee, all of Philadelphia, and four step-grandchildren.
... body is at Bracken ... Dr. E. A. Orner will officiate and interment will be in the Lutheran section of Pine Grove Cemetery."
