Nolan "J B" Baggett was born on April 20, 1926 in Montgomery County, Tennessee, the son of Sterling J Baggett (1901–1989) and Edna (Russell) Baggett (1902–1966).
A student and a farmer, he was 17 years old and had Hodgkins disease when he passed away on February 11, 1944 at home on Route 2, Palmyra, Montgomery County on February 11, 1944, and was buried the next day in Baggett Cemetery.
