Delores Lorrain Dishong, daughter of Henry and Esther (McAlexander) Baker . Her family moved to Howe, Ne. and Delores attended rural school near her home.
April 28, 1947 Delores was united in marriage to Albert "Whitey" Dishong at Hiawatha, KS. They lived in Omaha and Murdock, NE. before making Auburn, Ne. their home. The couple was blessed with four children. Sharon, Kathy, Debbie, and Bob.
Delores worked at the Campbell's Soup Plant in Tecumseh, NE. and later the WoodCarv Cabinet Plant in Auburn. She retired from WoodCarv, or Tri-Pac as it came to be known, in 1992 after 25 years at the plant.
Delores passed away at St. Elizabeth's Regional Medical in Lincoln, Ne. at the age of 83 years, 6 months and 26 days. Preceding her in death were, her parents, husband Whitey, daughter Sharon, and 2 brothers.
She was survived by her children Kathy and husband Rex Beatty of Auburn; Debbie and husband Scott Coatney of Peru, Ne. Bob and wife Monica Dishong of Shubert, Ne. son-in-law Jon Patterson of Blue Springs, MO. grandchildren Jody, Jon, Jason, Jeremy, David, Jeff, Wade, Ethan, Trevor, Cheyenne, and Chase; 10 great grandchildren (and one on the way); sister Janice Driver of Spokane, Washington, younger brother, Dorrell Dean Delozier, other relatives and friends.
Memorial services held Juyly 5, at Hemmingsen Funeral Home in Auburn officiated by Jon Patterson.
Private family inurnment of ashes was at Bedford Cemetery near Howe, Ne.
Services entrusted to Hemmingsen Funeral Home of Auburn, NE.
