Alfred G. Martin, 81, of Quakertown, died Thursday, Nov. 1, in his home. He was the husband of Irene E. (Detweiler) Martin. They were married for 51 years in August.
He was a custodian for Quakertown High School before retiring in 1982. Previously, he was a mason for the former Clymer Construction, Quakertown.
Born in Quakertown, he was a son of the late Levi and Mellebell (Krigor) Martin.
He was a member of the Quakertown Moose, Paletown Rod & Gun Club and the Keelersville Club.
Survivors: Wife; sons, Gerald and Allen L., both of Quakertown; daughters, Ruth D. Kline of Bethlehem, Wanda A. Wolf and Donna M., both of Quakertown, Betty L. of Sellersville; eight grandchildren, a great-grandchild.
