He graduated from Salem Center High School and Ivy Tech. He retired from Tower Advertising He was a member of the LaGrange American Legion. He served in the US Air Force. He married Margarette H Roberston on November 15, 1952 and she survives. Also surviving are a on Ron of Portage Indiana 3 daughters Diane (Steve) Kalman, Sondra Jane (Jim) Cisney, Kathy (Roger) Labarge, 2 brothers Clair and Laurel, 3 sisters Anne Trammell, Eva Crawford, Bonnie Spillain, 9 grand and 8 great.
