A very pretty home wedding was solemnized this afternoon at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. C.D. Wilcox ... when their daughter Zoe Mabel Wilcox was united in marriage to Richard Hunter Pope the eldest son of Dr. and Mrs. J.H. Pope of Franklin street this city. The entire house had been beautifully decorated with cut flowers, carried out in the color scheme of yellow and white ... accompanied on the piano by Miss Dorothy Wilcox, sister of the bride sang ... The ceremony took place beneath an arch of white daisies and ferns, The beautiful Episcopal ring ceremony was used by Rev. G.H. Sharpley, who officiated. The bride was dressed in pure white silk, covered with an elaborate lace net of the same color."
