Aged Resident Dies. Aaron Wentzel Passes Away in his 82nd Year. One of the oldest country members of St. Paul's Catholic Church, Aaron Wentzel, aged 81 years, 7 months and 12 days, died of general debility and the infirmities of old age, on Sunday evening, at his home in Muhlenberg township, after a brief illness. Besides his widow, Catharine, deceased is survived by four sons, Andrew, Jacob and Aaron Wentzel, this city; John Wentzel, of Norristown; four daughers, Mrs. Charles Moyer, of Warwick, Chester County; Mrs. George Hartman, of Mt. Penn; Mrs. Sarah Hinkel, of Reading, and Matilda Wentzel, of Muhlenberg township; these sisters, Mrs. Bridget Greth, Mrs. James Klemmer and Mrs. David Raub; 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. © The Eagle, Reading, PA, 6 Jan 1908
