Services for Dewey Sanford, 78, Mesa, Ariz., formerly of Indianapolis, will be held at 1p.m. Monday in G.H. Herrmann Madison Avenue Funeral Home, with burial in Mount Pleasant Cemetery. He died Thursday while visiting at Gulfport, Miss. A native of Hancock County and a resident of the Indianapolis area most of his life, Mr. Sanford was employed 21 years as a security guard for Link Belt Division of FMC Corporation, retiring in 1965. He was a member of Prospect Masonic Lodge. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Minnie Sanford; and son, Paul Sanford of Butler, Pa.
