Gene and Amy Lou (White) Sellers were married Aug 8, 1960

Funeral services for Eugene Elden Sellers were conducted Saturday, Nov. 5, 2011, at the Farson Community Hall in Farson. Interment was in the Eden Valley Cemetery in Farson.

Mr. Sellers, 75, of Farson, died Friday, Oct. 28, 2011, at his residence.

He was born July 30, 1936, in Rock Springs, the son of Richard Eugene Sellers and Ada Rosella Pate Sellers. He attended schools in Rock Springs and Farson and graduated from Farson-Eden High School. He completed one year at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, before leaving on a two-year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to Central America. After his return, he served two years in the military and was stationed in San Francisco, Calif.

He married Amy Lou White on Aug. 8, 1960, in Salt Lake City.

Survivors include his wife, Amy Sellers of Rock Springs; daughter, Linda Lou Sellers Simonson; five sons, Dal Eugene, Elde Scott, Lony Dee, Fane Robert and Kaly Don; two brothers, Raymond Roy Sellers and John Albert Sellers; two sisters, Ida May Sellers Franc and Eva Sellers Mudrow; and 44 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Ella McCurdy and Rose Simonson; two Sons, Zeno Roy Sellers and Rod Albert Sellers, and one grandson, Nathan Eugene Sellers.
