Alan Lehman Adams, 60, of Conway, formerly of Minturn, SC, passed away peacefully Thursday, June 28, 2012 surrounded by his loved ones.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 30, 2012 at Burroughs-Cooper-Kiser Funeral Home, officiated by the Rev. Emily Davis. Burial will follow at Hebron Cemetery. A Visitation will be held from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at Burroughs-Cooper-Kiser Funeral Home.

Son of the late Mabel and Lehman Adams, he was born October 11, 1951. He attended Dillon County Schools, and Pembroke College. He was a warehouseman until his medical retirement.

Alan was loved by all who met him. He was a devoted and caring brother to his sister. He had a keen since of humor, and story-telling. He enjoyed fishing, and NASCAR activities.

He was an award-winning serious amateur photographer who excelled in nature, and wildlife photography. And, perhaps he will be most remembered for his amazing mastery of the blues and rock history and legends.

He is survived by his sister, Paula L. Adams of Conway, and his girlfriend Andrea Mazaheri of Little River. He will be fondly remembered by a special aunt, Mrs. Mozelle Hankins of Dillon, and many relatives and friends.

Memorials may be made to the Victory Junction Camp, 4500 Adam's Way, Randleman, NC 27317; or to a Charity of one's choice.
