1825/26c - Possible that Julia married Joseph Skinner during that time frame.

Julia is mentioned in the 1898 Nelson's History of Erie County with her husband Joseph Skinner [see Joseph for full quote]

1826 - "... In 1826 he [Joseph] came to Erie County ... he was married to Julia Davis, also a native of Rhode Island ... to them were born eleven children ...

Charles [deceased], Mary Ann,wife of Philo Stevens, Columbus, Morris, resident of KS, Oliver D, Olive D., Juliette, wife of Solon Wilcox, Honor, Mrs Philo Wright [deceased] Catherine, wife of Newton Wright, Chautauqua Cty, NY, Alanson, deceased, Alice, deceased, and Marion, deceased. Joseph Skinner died in Corry in 1849 and his wife in 1880." [Julia's death date error]

1840 - Wayne Township Census, Joseph Skinner listed as head of household

1850 - Wayne Township, Erie County Census, Julia is widowed, with children: Mary Ann 22, Morris 20, Oliver 18, Milton 16, Juliette 15, Honor 13, Catherine 11, Luzon 7, [or 9].

1860 - Concord Township Census, Julia Skinner.

1870 - Concord Township Census, Julia 62, living with son Milton 35, Real Estate Realtor.

1872 - May 20, Julia E. Skinner is Grantee on this Columbus Township Resources for Deeds and Tax Records.

1880 - Julia has not been found yet on this census. She is most likley living with one of her 11 children.

1881 - Died *August 19, 1881 and she is buried in West Lawn Cemetery in Columbus, PA.

*NOTE: Date of death was hard to read, but it appears to be Aug. In a copy of Page 19 of Westlawn Cemetery's burials beside Julia's name is: "Julia A. Skinner, d. 19 May? 1881, age 72 with Temperance." In looking at the actual gravestone and close up pictures taken, it appears to be AUG, not MAY. Also the initial E. is very clear on the stone, not A.
