A wake is scheduled Friday from 7 to 8 pm at Tims Funeral Home Chapel.
Mr. Redden was born in Cherokee County and had resided in Lufkin for the past 41 years. He was a retired motel custodian and was a member of the Methodist Church.
Survivors: wife, Ester of Lufkin; step-children, Robert Lee Davis & Euda Bell Lewis of Grapeland; brother, Raymond of Jacksonville; aunt, Dollie Barnes of Jacksonville; 15 step-grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers: Step-grandsons and step-great-grandsons.
