Barrister. Husband of Helen Hamill (Snider) Appelbe of 87 Queen St. South, Hamilton, Ontario (they were married 1 Feb, 1908, at All Saints Church, Hamilton). Mrs. Appelbe was the second daughter of Judge Snider, Hamilton, Ontario.
Captain Appelbe died of pneumonia. Survived by his wife and three children.
A daughter, Helen Elizabeth "Betty" (Applebe) Armour is buried in this plot.
