Passed away in the city on Friday, August 12,1988, MR. ROBERT (BOB) BALAZS, at the age of 49 years, beloved husband of Mrs. Valerie Balazs of Lethbridge, Alberta.
Born in Lethbridge on July 13,1939, the late Mr. Balazs attended St Basil's Elementary School and St Francis High School here in Lethbridge.
Bob met Valerie and was married in 1964.
He started his employment with Crystal Dairies which is now Alpha Dairies and had been with them for 23 years up until the time of his passing.
Bob was an avid sportsman here in the city, being involved in softball and well known for his participation in hockey. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed the outdoors.
Bob was a member of the Old Timers Sportsmen Association.
Besides his loving wife, Valerie, Bob is survived by one son, of Lethbridge; two daughters, both of Lethbridge; two grandchildren, his mother, Helen Balazs of Lethbridge, one brother Dennis Balazs of Lethbridge; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his father Steve Balazs and by one brother, Donny Balazs
