Mrs. Esther M. Christensen, 74, of 141 Elmer street, died yesterday in Overlook Hospital, after a long illness. She was the wife of the late Paul H. Christensen, who died June 15, 1957.
Born in Sweden, she had lived in this country for 51 years, and in town for 40 years. She was a member of Woodside Chapel, Fanwood.
She is survived by three sons, Edwin P., Lima, Peru; Carl P., Cranford, and Paul J., Westfield; two daughters, Mrs. Clara C. Zimmerli, Stony Brook, L.I., and Mrs. Esther C. Brooks, Manila, Philippines; eight grandchildren, and four sisters in Sweden.
Services will be Saturday in Gray's at 11 a.m., with Dr. John
D. Gill of Woodside Chapel officiating. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery.
