Orin C. Cathers Funeral Sunday
Funeral services for Orin C. Cathers, 88 years old, veteran of the Civil War, who died yesterday in the home of his step-son, Evan W. Payne, 944 Wood Street, will be held at the Payne home at 2:30 o'clock tomorrow afternoon. The body will be taken to Toronto at 11 o'clock Monday morning for burial.
The deceased was born in West Virginia and served as a private with Company D, Eighteenth Regiment Pennsylvania cavalry during the Civil War.
He is survived by his widow, Nancy and the following children: Mrs. Frank Hatfield, Mrs. Mary Hann, Mrs. Norman Thorn and Mrs. Allen, all of Steubenville, and Robert Cathers, of Friendly W. Va. Two sisters, one of who resides in Harrisburg, and one brother also survives.
