21 Dec 1924: Solomon Weber, a resident of Sand Hill, died this morning at 3:00 o'clock, from general debility. He was aged 82 and was a member of Salem Lutheran Church in Lebanon. He had been employed as a carpenter for many years. He was a veteran of the Civil War, and was identified with the "Grand Army of the Republic". Besides his wife Malinda (nee Lutz), he leaves two sons, Henry H., and Paul Weber; and three daughters, Kate A. Weber, Mrs. John Weirich, and Mrs. Milton Bordner. The funeral will take place on Wednesday afternoon. Interment to take place in the Kimmerlings Cemetery. [Lebanon Daily News]
