She was born in Parkersburg, June 19, 1928, a daughter of the late William D. and Mildred M. Jackson Fleming. She was a supervisor for Best Photo for 10 years. She enjoyed crafts and quilting, and was an avid reader. She was a member of the Eastern Star for 49 years. She was a member of Vienna Baptist Church for over 30 years, and participated in the "Young at Heart" choir, the Harvesters Sunday School class, was a Deaconess, and was a Circle Helping Hands member.
She is survived by her sons, Michael Allen Tice (Penny) and Bickford L. Tice (Elaine), both of Vienna; granddaughter, Lindsay Tice of Charlotte, N.C.; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Charles Allen Tice; a brother, William D. Fleming; and a sister, Anita J. Paden.
Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Leavitt Funeral Home Parkersburg, with Pastor Bill Brown and Pastor Dennis Pratt officiating. Burial will be at Parkersburg Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. today.
