Billy Dean Anders, 44, of 350 Big Creek Rd., Marshall, N.C. passed away Friday, March 29, 2013 at Missions Hospital after a brief illness. A native of Buncombe County, N.C., he was the son of Robert Parks Anders and Janet Phillips Anders. Billy was a US Army Veteran was employed as a deputy sheriff with the Buncombe County Sheriff's department.
In addition to his parents he was survived by a sister, brothers, nieces, nephews,a great nephew, and work partner.
The family received friends from 12:00 - 2:00 PM Monday, April 1, 2013 at Blue Ridge Funeral Service, Mars Hill. A graveside service was held at Divide Cemetery on the North Carolina and Tennessee state line. Revs Dean Metcalf and Dwight Boone Jr. conducted graveside services.
