Fort Bend Herald, November 10, 2003:

Funeral services for Pauline Corona Moreno, 94, devoted wife, mother and grandmother, of Rosenberg, will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday Nov. 11, 2003, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 516 Carlisle St. in Rosenberg with the Rev. Blocher officiating the services. Burial will follow at Fulshear Cemetery. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Monday Nov. 10, 2003 at the Chapel of Hernandez Funeral Home by the Guadalupana Society of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday Nov. 10, 2003 at the funeral home and from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Tuesday Nov. 11, at the church.

Mrs. Moreno was born Jan. 28, 1909 in Monterrey, N.L. Mexico and passed away Nov. 8, 2003 at her residence in Rosenberg surrounded by her loving family members.

Pauline was a long time member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church and a member of the Guadalupana Society. She was raised in the Fulshear area.

She is preceded in death by her father Jose Corona; mother Simona Fiscal Corona; brother Pedro Corona; sisters Francisca Corona; Maria Luna; Julia Martinez; and Antonia Almendarez.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Hilario Moreno; son Pedro Moreno; daughters Guadalupe Arroyo and husband Vicente; Hortencia Tristan and husband Johnnie; sister Simona Fernandez; grandchildren Esteban and John Christopher Moreno; Anna Marie Razo; Frankie Tristan; Joann Salazar; great-grandchildren Anastasia Lynn, Zachery, Christina, Malerie, Salena, Nicholas Ely, and Noah Moreno; Luis Miguel and Jesus Torvio Raza, Amora, Chloe and Kelsey Tristan; Ruby Ann Salazar; and numerous nieces, nephews, family members and friends.

The family of Pauline Moreno would like to thank the staff of Vitas Hospice for their care.
