FAIRCHILD --- Eldora Richards, 73, of Oakwood Villa Nursing Home in Altoona, and formerly of Fairchild, died Monday, July 10, 1995, at the home.
Eldora was born Nov. 1, 1921, in rural Fairchild, to Albert and Anna (Bramer) Thur. She married Nanian Thompson and later married George Richards Aug. 6, 1946. The couple lived all of their marriage life in Fairchild.
Survivors include four sons, Allen (Laura) Thompson of Merrillan, Jim (Ellen) Richards of Montello and Thomas (Vonnie) Richards of Mondovi; three daughters, Julie (Joseph) Smith of West Point, Texas, Mary (Craig) Fairbanks of Montello and Jeanie (Thomas) Bowden of Waskom, Texas; two sisters, Lorraine Olsen and Linda (Ralph) Hegg, all of Fairchild; 20 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, July 14, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Fairchild, with burial in Fairchild Cemetery.
