LEBANON - Donald L. Barker, 79, of Lebanon died Tuesday at home.
Mr. Barker was born in Toledo to Thomas and Martha (Zeek) Barker. As a child he moved to Lebanon where he finished his schooling.
Mr. Barker was a staff sergeant in the Air Force during World War II and the Korean War.
He married Clementine Swickard Aug. 1, 1951, and they moved to Lebanon in the early 1980s. Clementine died in 1987.
Mr. Barker was an equipment operator for the City of Pamona in California for 27 years, retiring in 1977. He enjoyed hunting and liked refinished furniture. He belonged to the Santiam Post of the American Legion.
Sisters Lola Rucker and Berta Hall, both of Lebanon; and a niece survive. Sister Hazel Phelps preceded him in death.
At Mr. Barker's request, there will be no services. Inurnment will be at Twin Oaks Memorial Park in Albany. Huston-Jost Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
