Dawn passed away of complications from diabetes.
Dawn attended Avondale Schools through the 9th grade. She completed grades 10 through 12 at the International Academy in Bloomfield Hills, being a member of its first graduating class in 2000. She was pursuing a degree in nursing at the University of Michigan. She would have received her degree this May.
Dawn was a member of the Avondale Swim Team for four years. She loved to read, anyting from the classics to Stephen King. She also loved music. She played clarinet and saxophone. She also loved rollerblading and ice skating.
Dawn will always be missed.
