Allen Campbell was the son of William and Mary Jane Mayfield Campbell. He married Minnie Pearl Taylor in Morristown, Hamblen, Tennessee on Sept. 11, 1916. They had the following 9 children :Daniel Webster Campbell 08 Aug.1917 - 12 Jun 1990; Ruble Campbell 04 May 1920 - 28 June 1994; Woodrow Campbell b. 13 Apr 1924 d. 03 Jun 1925; Mary Martha Campbell b.16 Oct 1922 d.17 Jan. 2002; Bessie Campbell b.24 Sep. 1925 d.08 May 2003; Gracie May Campbell b.09 Apr 1928 d.16 Apr 1928; Anna Laura Campbell b.18 Aug. 1929; Daisy Mae Campbell b. 12 July 1936; and Lena Fay Campbell b. 04 July 1939. Allen worked odd jobs and lost his left arm when he was ran over by a train . He died of cancer which developed in his left eye and worsened until his death. The children were born in the old frame house they lived in on Second South St., in Morristown, Hamblen, TN.
