OXFORD — Hazel Janette Kornegay, 87, died April 5, 2013.
Mrs. Kornegay was born in Oxford. She was a lifelong resident of Sumter County and a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Rudolph; sons Gene, Oxford, Danny, Oxford, Robert, Trenton; sister, Neil Sands, Oxford; 12 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grand-hildren.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Monday, April 8, 2013 in the Banks/Page-Theus Chapel. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 9, 2013 in the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with interment following in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
Arrangements are by Banks/Page-Theus Funerals and Cremations, Wildwood.
