Cecil Andrew Peck, 82, of Wallingford, died at his home surrounded by his loving family after a brief illness on Thursday, February 11, 2010. He was the beloved husband of the late Esther G. DeAngelo Peck.

He was born in New Haven, June 23, 1927, son of the late Harry and Otilia Kricek Peck and was a Veteran of World War II having served in the U.S. Navy. He had been employed by the Wallingford Electric Division as a Chief Lineman until his retirement and was a member of the Yalesville United Methodist Church and the Veterans of Foreign Wars - Maj. Rauol Lufbery Post. He was also a Mason and a charter member of both the I.B.E.W. Local #457 and the Wallingford Municipal Federal Credit Union.

He is survived by his two daughters, Patricia Dooley, and Darlene Brija; his son, Harold Peck; his eight grandchildren; his three great grandchildren; his three brothers, Harold F. Peck who was his twin, Donald Peck, and Frederick Peck; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son, Douglas S. Peck; his daughter, Cecily V .Oakes; and his brother, George Peck.

His family will receive relatives and friends in The Wallingford Funeral Home, on Sunday, February 14, 2010. A funeral service will be held on Monday in The Yalesville United Methodist Church. Pastor Anne M. Brackett will officiate. Interment will be in In Memoriam Cemetery in Wallingford.
